The Wild Run was a magical way to see a part of the South African coastline that is extremely rural and difficult to access, but incredibly beautiful.

It was an awesome group of quite experienced runners, 73 total entrants that made my first multi-day event much more manageable.

Lots of stretches of beach, some local villages, cliffs, aloes (local vegetation), river crossings, cool breezes and sometimes absolutely no one else visible for miles – the only instruction we had for the 3 days, was “to hug the coastline wherever possible
